The Victorian Séance
Shanghai Mermaid

on Saturday, October 25th, 1929,
you are most cordially
invited to a darkly elegant soirée.
join us, as we step into a world that hovers
between this one and the next. the soirée will take
place in a beautiful victorian mansion known to mystics
and mediums as a home to spirits who travel between times.
both the living and the dead converge at this spot on the same
night every year to celebrate with a festive, supernatural soirée.
come dance to 1920's hot jazz, drink classic cocktails and watch
performances from souls who have come to play. don your
most glamorous attire for this jazz age romp with the dead.
please note that as you pass through the doors of the
manor, you are leaving the current world behind.
