signaling the unfortunate
dénouement of the
jazz age}.

a former gangster's
hangout, hidden in an
alley on the lower
east side.
burlesque: dandy dillinger
jazz: terry waldo's gotham city band
dancing girls: the bathtub ginnys
ATTIRE:
dressy, vintage
or vintage-inspired, high
glamour, 1920s, 1930s, feathers,
top hats, cocktail, formal, creative
attire, character-driven . . . come
as your most glamorous
jazz age self.
DRESS CODE:
please note that this
venue has a strict NO REAL
FUR policy. please also note that
casual attire will not be admitted

there are reserved
seating options for purchase on
the ticketing page. there are also a few
bar stools available in the bar on a first come,
first served basis. please note that the purchase
of reserved seating doesn't include admission;
entry and reserved seating are separate
purchases. please also note that
there are no refunds.

enter through the small gate that says
"lower east side toy company", walk through
the alleyway and up the stairs at the end. this is
the same hidden entrance used during prohibition
by meyer lansky, bugsy siegel and other gangsters.
the space at that time was just called "the back
of ratner's". ratner's was a famous kosher
dairy restaurant on delancey
from 1905 to 2004.
